I am trying something new here with the torrents I've been posting on ITV. Thanks to Djgoldnboy from the Marquette board for the idea to try Blogspot out as a place to post my torrent links. His Marquette torrent site can be found at muvideo.blogspot.com/.
For those of you new to torrents, let me try to get you up to speed. The links I provide you here will be for very small torrent files. These files do not actually contain any video, they are simply the "instructions" your torrent software needs to download and share files with others. I highly recommend you Get µTorrent 1.6 Installation Program (597 kB) . That is the program I have had the most sucess with but there are others you can find if that doesn't work for you. There is a nice UTORRENT FAQ.
Downloads will take a while, depending on how much bandwidth you decide to share. The more upload bandwidth shared by everyone, the smoother the torrent will run. These are large files, average about 1.8 GB for a basketball game and abot 3.2 GB for a football game. I always edit out everything I can, commercials, non-related halftime material to get these files as user friendly as possible. The majority of the files are in MPEG-2 format, which you should be able to drag and drop into your favorite DVD burning software and it will render into a dvd if you want to burn them to disk. If you wish to watch it on your computer, you may need to download and install K LITE CODEC PACK. The files in AVI or DIVX format will require you to install DIVX CODEC 6.4.1.
If you have any questions, please post a comment in response to this thread. I will do my best to answer it and that way we can build our own FAQ list.

How to burn these videos to DVD.
If you need burning software that will take the video files you download here and burn them as DVD's you can play on your TV, then download the torrent located HERE (NERO 7.5). I use NERO to burn my DVD's, just simply choose "Create DVD Video" from the startup program and select the video file of the game you want to burn on a DVD. Depending on your PC's processor speed and the number of processes you are running this can take a while or no time at all. Hope this helps all of you who have been asking me this question.

Jerb, I started the UL-WV fb game. I have 1% and it's been almost 2 hours. At that rate it would take 200 hours. I have Insight broadband and usually get quick downloads, but I've never done the torrent thingy.
Hey Jerb, nice looking site, glad I gave you the idea to set this up.
Hopefully I'll be able to download some MU wins from the site the next few seasons.
I remember that alley off the backboard to Everick Sullivan. Very nice! (Didn't we also do that once in the NCAA tourney (In Boise maybe?) with Greg Minor?)
Thanks for starting the new site. I haven't tried to get an invite to the other so I don't know if I could, but no ones offered either. :)
I don't have any old games to contribute, but I've got a pretty good hs connection and would love to download and seed.
Thanks again.

Jerb,
Thanks for the GREAT site! Your hard work and effort is greatly appreciated!!
jerb, i've downloaded several games and they are listed as "seeding". what is the next step to get these on a dvd? my computer has a built in drive to burn cd's and dvd's but when i drug the file onto the program it wrote the dvd, but then once in the dvd player it says there is nothing on the dvd.
Thanks for all the hard work.
I downloaded the 2007 Orange Bowl and 1986 NCAA Final.
Re. 1986 NCAA Final, what happened to the last part where Ellison scores on a putback? It appears that part of the game was spliced in from game highlights.
Anyway, great site! Everything is very much appreciated.
Cards56,
From what you described, you made a data DVD. You have to use a program like Roxio and select a project called "DVD Builder" then select type DVD. This will format your DVD so that when you insert it into a DVD player, it will know what to do with it. Good Luck. Jerb also has included instructions on the site using Nero software.
Scott, unfortunately thats what the copy I was given of the 86 game had on it...only a few seconds missing.
Does anyone have old "One Shining Moments" that they can post?
NJ

hey can you please get the UL vs Florida State 2002 game? that game put us in the national spotlight for the 1st time really...
Fellow fans,
I recently had an issue where I lost all of my downloads and torrents. So with that said, I am currently tryin to get all of the games back up and running on my top but I need some help.
Can I get some seeders for the "Orange Bowl 2007 Louisville vs. Wake Forest" and "WV Louisville 2004 Elite 8"
I am going to just take a few games at a time and really dont know how to go about it other than that.
Well I said my piece. Thanks for the help fam.

Skinnyville..I leave my upload maxed out as much as possible...hope others start doing the same!
Funny thing is that if we win tonight against PITT, when I post that torrent we will have a ton of people jump on and download it that have already downloaded what your looking for, so you will have a lot of inadvertant seeders...so here's hoping we win!

Jerb:
Great site! Thanks so much for putting this all together, it is a great resource. For those who download the files, don't forget to continue seeding!!
So what happened to all the seeders? You guys just figure your done now, I suppose. Thanks anyhow - go Cards
I'm trying to download the St. John's game from last year with no luck. It says its downloading but no data is moving. Any suggestions?
Also, how do I become a "seeder" to help expand the bandwidth?
Great work! If you have any more games with Rozzzzzier I'd love any one of them.
Big up!
Hey, I really love your site. You've enabled me to enjoy some fond memories. I don't seem to be able to find any of this seasons football games. I realize they're struggling but it would be nice to have them posted on a temporary basis to help out those of us who can't watch them without a download.
Basketball season has started off very nicely. Please put those games on here. Keep up the good work, Love this place.
Hi all: On the 1986 basketball final I can clear up the Ellison put back as that is from a tape I made of the game in, of course '86; it was done on a Beta tape which was the prevalent format then. I watched it probably 50 times in the next 5-10 years. And, I noticed that the tape was starting to show it's age. I made a backup on another Beta tape.
Then recently I transferred the backup to VHS and then into my computer. The Ellison put back was glitched. The original and backup Beta tapes had the same glitch; but, I got the putback from a friend who had recorded the hour long broadcast after the game but not the game itself. I cut and spliced it as well as I could.
Since no one else seemed to have the complete 1986 game available I sent a copy of my DVD to be used until the official one comes out (which it probably will soon).
While not perfect, it is better than nothing. Swamp Daddy
Hello again: I have the Florida State-UL rain game on tape. I’ll work it into a DVD soon.
In the mean time can any one start seeding the 1983 UL/UK Dream Game from the 1983 regional final again. I have a tape of the game; but, I got so excited I forgot to turn the VCR back on for the overtime. One on me for that – LOL. So I am downloading the whole thing.
